The SCP x Undertale crossover game "Undertale BREACHED" was revealed to be in violation of SCP's licensing after talks with the team in charge of it. We have since taken down the project. This page will remain present until the URL expires.
This event has also gotten us to rethink our presence online, our dependency on other people's approval, our need to please others going further than our need to take care of ourselves. In our ~10 years of being active on chatting platforms, forums, and other media, we've come to realize the temporal nature of virtual commodities. It simply doesn't last, doesn't feel real, and ends up leading nowhere in the end.
We've lost what could have been valuable time working on ourselves and bettering our skills because of the fear of missing out that never let us have peace. How can we truly create if we're not free of that constant social pressure that, not only ruled our lives so far, but causes us to lose track of what's really important?
I'm sure some of you can relate. With time, we realized this can't be right. Taking a step back now, you realize social media is full of divisive stances, high standards and a huge need to know what's next. In the meantime, you forget yourself.
We have since gotten rid of all of our social media presence, all of our platforms, accounts, and depart for good as we attempt to retrieve normalcy.
I will forever be grateful for social media connecting me to a few of my lifelong best friends years ago - one of which being my wife. However, there's currently no reason for us to use any of these platforms anymore. The devolution of privacy, lack of enthusiasm, the one-sided nature of everything, the hours spent consuming content for nothing in return would be to list from our list of reasons why we simply don't want to come back to it.
We are likely to come back to our creations with a different perspective, although none of it will ever be rendered available on the public internet, or anywhere public as a matter of fact. Artists shouldn't have that desire of publishing overlap their passion - and neither should you.
Best wishes,
xyroyumi
